    I can't tell from that photo. Which part of it is raised (if any) and which part is recessed?

    It... almost looks like a D only upside down... It's the outside edge that is raised. Here's another angle. 1995 d3.jpg

    What do you use for lighting? I keep having glare issues when trying to get a picture.

    It may be a bubble in the plating? Don't really know but that would be my best guess.

    Really weird! Definitely a keeper! Just wish I knew more about coins to know what it is for sure. Still trying to learn.
