Ummm, so here is the poor lil' coin that had zero-love during the auction, so I snagged it for $60 (sure, plus taxes) ...

... but I mean seriously? => this poor lil' dawg is 2100 years old, full flan, nicely struck, and honestly => I may have bid if this baby was twice the price!! (I think this was a sweet and very cool pick-up)

... I hope that you folks like it too ...

Steve Steve Steve... be glad I'm on that wagon. This one and your last one were both on my watch list even though I knew I wouldn't/shouldn't bid.

Nice pickup Steve - very nice indeed. Bidding depends on demand of course. Nobody wanted this coin at the moment, not because of its merits obviously, but because they were looking for other pieces. You were the lucky winner in that scenario.

That was a good deal. The lots that sell for minimum bid are often not particularly good coins, but this one appears to have been genuinely missed. I would have expected bids at least to estimate.

Very cool coin, I like the obverse design. I've had similar occurences were I had purchased a coin at opening bid, even though it should have gone for more. Nice catch!

    Thanks gang ...

Funny => this was the least expensive, yet it got the most "likes" ... apparently, it really was the rumt, yet winner of the ol' litter, eh?

Yah, I liked this coin a first glance ... it's kinda low-class classy

Another excellent coin. I suspect that coin may have been in the middle east at one time based on the color, if nearly the same in-hand.
