    Shes a crusty but well detailed one probably was at least a vf before buried

    Should I just clean it And make a pendant out of it

    Depends how you clean it I can't tell if the layers I'm seeing are just crud or metal breakdown is not a rare date but would be a nice coin in good condition

    Well done, Buck! If it were me, I wouldn't care how crusty the coin is, the thrill of unearthing that baby would make my week!

    We have found 6 so far That one bein the best out of 6 The site we are on is very sweet 5 1800s sites in all 2 next 2 an abandon RR 3 as far as we can tell houses And a school house in the woods

    i hope one day to find at least 1 coin pre1965 all i find is pennys and bullet casings and foil

    Great find!

    Before you do anything with it, you might want to find out its variety. It would be a shame if you ruined a rarer variety coin!

    You ask.

    Difficult to tell because of the surfaces but it is ether N-1 or N-12 and I am strongly leaning toward N-1. N-1 is a common variety (N-12 is only slightly scarce so either way you are not talking about a rare coin.)
