2006-W Silver Eagles

What about ANACS, it seems I have to join a club to get coins graded at NGC, but anacs does not require that.

I ordered mine early I think. I also didn't call them, I just waited. The orders disappeared, then I got an email that they were switched to backorder. And then they shipped.

 

I wouldnt buy coins from Littletons even with your money. Its my opinion, but believe their prices are way too high. They advertise in alot of coin publications, then beginning collectors see those ads and figure "Hey thats a great inexpensive way to start" until they get their first shipment. I joined their Silver Dollar Club years ago and they sent me everything but Silver Dollars, a 1919 wheat, a worn down War Nickel, a common circulated Merc and a 2004 ASE all for the low price of $35.00. I dont think so.

 

tell ya what, we made out VERY well (me included) on this eagle deal from them.

 

ANACS is good. Probably considered number 3 TPS behind PCGS & NGC. I think they have a 5 coins min also but their price is a bit cheaper. They are also running a $8 per modern coin (1964-present) special. Min on that is 10 coins.
I wasn't sure if you had to join the collectors society http://www.collectors-society.com to use that NGC/Ebay grading link. I am a member of the collectors society so I just went directly through their site.

I finally got mine today. They are in original mint packaging and look good.

 

I sent my 5 Ws off last week to ANACS, along with 2 proofs. I will post the grades when they get back in a couple of weeks. Looks like MS69s are going over $250 and 70s are around $350.

 

They have been getting into the 80's ungraded the past couple days completed auctions on fleabay.

 

it won't stop there, silver eagles are a popular series

 

That's fine with me, as I ended up buying a few for a bit more than you guys did, since I missed that deal.
Once I started watching them, I decided I should grab some while they could still be had below $50.

 

2006-w Ase

Thanks much to Hllywood, I received my 20 coins yesteday!! All in original boxes and all in good condition. The only one I checked out was lustrous, clean and worth of sending in to be graded!!

I can't believe I missed them from the mint. I bought one today off Ebay for 65 and I am happy at that price.

 

Captain any words on your grades yet? Just got my grades on coins submitted to NGC. 5 2006 W unc all got MS69 Early Release. What I am really happy is sent in 3 2006 Reverse Proofs. Got a PF70 and 2 PF69's.
Zaneman if you are on a big thanks goes out to you. I bought 2 of the 2006 silver 3 coin anniversary sets from you (great buy now price by the way). The reverse proof PF70 came out of one of the sets I bought from you. Way to go!::whistle:

Also got 7 2006-W Uncirculated in NGC now which they received Jan 23 (5 from Littlleon) Come on MS70!

 

No info from ANACS yet. I shipped them insured , but not registered, so I hope the USPS employees are totally honest.
I am hoping for at least 2 70s.
