I won this today and I think I got a good deal any comments would be appreciated. If i figured it right I paid face for the clads and melt for the silver which means I scored the folder for free. LOL Sorry I forgot to paste the link to the auction http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kennedy-hal...gtKdB3nvbl%2Bhg0ZkZEE%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
You did very well. By my count, you scored at least $61 in coins from current melt values and face values (on those that have melt values less than face). You also have a 1970-D which was never struck for circulation. Those were issued in mint sets only. Depending on it's condition, it could be valued well over its melt value.
No "bargain" but a touch less than current melt/face including the folder when you figure shipping in. 2 90% halves = $15 5 40% halves = $15 1970-D half = $11 28 clads = $14 Whitman folder = $2.74 $57.74 total. When you factor in that 40% halves typically only sell for about 80-85% of melt, you're around $54.
