    I'd say it's VG details. As for the value, that's tough. It's the key date in the series, so some will pay up for it to fill their date sets. I would have expected it sell for about what it did, maybe a bit lower ($27-30 range).

    thanks for the reply. I looked at sold listing for last 3 months on Ebay and its not easy finding anything under 30 dollars unless it is in much worse shape than this one.

    You may be right. I didn't do any recent ebay searches to price it, and I don't want to disparage the coin, especially if you made the purchase. I just think it's hard to determine a value for a problem coin. This one has decent details, but along with the corrosion, it could also been cleaned/smoothed (hard to tell from the pics). I think this would be a great coin as far as filling a low-end date set. As you said, they are hard to find at a decent price.

    I appreciate your input. It definetly is a lowgrade problem version. I may keep it or maybe resell it after seeing what it looks like. Constructive criticism is always welcome concerning coins put up here for evaluation. Thanks for your reply.

    IDK, looking the pictures (which are not great) I see a G grade.
