will you try to buy a Saggle Ridge coin?

    The find is historic. Do you think this will add to its value outside of the normal grading of the coin?

    It's tempting, but I'd rather not saggle myself with that much debt. :)

    I'd buy one if the coin is right and the money's right if it's a nice ms type 3 liberty and it's priced in line for similar coins I'd take a shot

    I think we all know what you meant. There are some serious typo cops on this forum lol.
    And to answer i would love one of these coins but I think the premiums will be like nothing seen before

    I think they're pretty cool. If I had a couple thousand to spend, I'd possibly pick one up.

    Anyone have any ideas on the premium? I have a feeling it will be similar to the battle creek hoard as far as ridiculous premium over greysheet

    I can't speak to premiums but like most I've imaged them being crazy. What little I have seen was a newsweek article talking to the guy that is putting this all together said the "cheap" examples were going to go for $2,500. He said these were ones the couple tried to clean and thus are ungraded in PCGS holders. So as a bottom dollar, we'll see at least $2,500 for an example.

    No. I wouldn't pay a premium for this hoard.

    Too much especially for a problem coin I bet if we all wait until the news coverage dies down say a couple years from now many of the commoner coins will be for sale at a minimal if any premium that's when I'll try to pick one up I personally love coins with great provenance my ultimate goal is to get something ex eliasberg pretty much all his coins were first rate even common dates were among the finest known examples

    I'd get one if the premiums were reasonable but I already know that they will not be. I mean there's already a page on Amazon where you can sign up for updates and eventually probably find the coins for sale in the collectibles section http://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=8590321011
    The added hype of the find combined with being offered on Amazon of all places, I think that the premiums on these coins is going to be way too high for me personally.Most of the common coins that get offered on Amazon I think will probably sell to people with little actual numismatic knowledge or those who get caught up with the hype and want one of the specially labeled hoard coins.

    There are some serious typographical errors on this forum. These two are the most commonly misused words, their and there.

    They're = they are
    Their = possessive
    There = place

    They're having a sale at their coin shop where there are going to be lots of great deals.

    If people bury themselves too deeply in these coins, they won't be letting them go for FMV anytime soon. Just my opinion.
