My opinion- Only the first 8 listed (less than one in a million) are worth collecting. Even those I would only do so in smaller denominations like $1 and $5. Unless you have money to waste paying a premium for many of these are a lose/lose situation.
but, just my opinion.

Always thought a solid 8's note would be the ultimate radar flipper repeater solid serial... seeing as all zeros' is out of the picture...

 

I see the auctions at LynKnight for fancy serial numbered notes were bringing some serious change. Here's my two fancy notes they are kinda cool.

 

First note on the block tonight, currently at $5100 plus%15. This is actually a note worthy of a hefty price, but some of these other fancy serial numbers are questionable. PMG 64

1953 $2 A11111111A sold for $28,000. Twenty frucking eight thousand dollars. I watched that one live and had to call my coworkers over to see it.

Definitely a bidding war that got way out of hand. Talk about an explosive market.

 

Crazy, if you read the description it says that it sold for $3000 in 1987, many other notes with solid serials were selling at 3 to 5 thousand.....

 

I like to look through straps and find them. I personally love collecting them!
