1968cent

i found a 1968 cent that looks like dd to me could someone tell me if it might be worth something i cant find it in the red book

the flat shelf-like doubling indicates machine doubling, it is interesting, but not rare or valuable. IMO.

Definate strike doubling.

well, look on the bright side, it has a S mint.:thumb: keep all S mint coins. most are not proofs, but finding a S mintmark is kinda rare. alot of people keep S mints. i do see a little doubling, but not much. i would just keep it because it is a S mintmark.

 

I agree. S seems to be the most likely mint to have the least amount produced.
