So I found this 1992 cent roll hunting, it has a close AM reverse and appears to be struck through grease, can I get some opinions here? Sent from my N860 using Tapatalk 2
I don't think it is a 1992, the last digit in the date does not quite resemble the "normal" 2 found on 1992 cents. Any chance for clearer pics of the date?
With a wide AM, the spacing between the A and M would be the same as the M and E. I think this is a close AM reverse (though the angle of the pics makes it a little tough to tell), but I don't think it is a 1992...
It appears to be double struck in the collar as well, I'll try and get some clearer pics it has like a rail road rim you can see what appears to be a cud in the rim but I think its where it was struck twice and Lincolns entire head is doubled, I'll try for better pics give me a little bit thanks for the help Sent from my N860 using Tapatalk 2
Sorry this is as best as pics get tonight, I'll get better ones loaded tomorrow, I think its a 92 or 93, under magnification it really looks like a 2, I heard you can tell by the bow tie but Im not sure what Im looking for, can you see the doubling in Lincolns head the whole coin is doubled like that front and back when tipped and tilted in the light it looks like its shifted or something any thoughts will get better pic tomorrow..thanks Sent from my N860 using Tapatalk 2
It really looks like a 2 to me, can you see how its double struck in the collar, maybe that's why its so difficult to tell, when I twerk it in the light under magnification it really really looks like a 2, any thoughts? Sent from my N860 using Tapatalk 2
