Ok here is where I stand now ordered in Nov first shiping date was Dec 11 then the 16, 19, 25, back to 19 then the 25, then Jan 8, then 16 still now show.

2006 w unc gold

my gold set was backordered to jan. 16 from dec 25. $5.00 gold was backordered to feb.1, 2007.

 

My 2006W silver eagle order now says Feb.1, has been pushed back several times, and my silver eagle anniversary sets order still says Jan.12 (?) and has for about 3 weeks now. Beggining to worry about both orders.

 

My order number was 2373xxxx.

 

Mine still says 1/16. Expect it will change soon to 2/something. I will probably get the Jamestown coins before my 06 ASE Unc.

 

me too i ordered in october and if i get in February it will mean a 4 month delay. way to go mint.

 

My date is now 2/1 for the 06 ASE W-UNCs. Did they have a problem with the packaging on this product also?

 

i had ordered several of the silver eagles. no packing problems w/ these as they are encapsulated, velvet bagged and then boxed. nice coins. i ordered mine first day they were available and got them wk before last. hope you get your soon.

I guess I was optimistic with the ASE ship date - my 2006 ASE Unc. just changed to 3/1. My Jamestown proof now shows as shipped with the ship date of 2/1 for the Jamestown Unc.

What in the world could they be doing with the ASE Unc. Do they have to make more or what? Maybe it's on the slow boat from China. Just have to keep waiting and hoping.

 

I think most of us are seeing the shipping date moving. I am not sure what is causing this. Last time I saw this was with the 20th Anniversary AGE set and eventually I was informed it was no longer available. The only difference is that I ordered that after the sellout was announced. I ordered the ASEs the day before (12/10). Who knows. Maybe ND?

My ship date changed to 3/1/07. My order date was 11/13/06.

 

I think what happens on the constantly moving "expected ship date" involves their strange processing procedure. They have certain days that a particular sku or coin will ship and when they have established that, then it stops for a while anyhow. I spoke with a mint chick sunday night to get some credit card information updated and I was told by her that they have not been given another ship date for this coin. I think that is why the expected ship dates keep moving and will so till they have a day set for the actual shipment of these coins. All of them may not be trucked or shipped that day and then the movement starts again for those that still have pending orders. This is just my best guess and if anyone has any better information, I will not be offended lol. would be nice to understand this but most of the time the information you get from the mint is useless

I can only assume that they are real busy with all the new stuff coming out but still this is awfully slow. Try this in the real world people and see how long you have your job. l

 

I ordered twice on the anniversary set, the last time was 11/02, recieved both sets from last order two weeks ago. As for the ASE-w I ordered 25 coins on the first day and I recieved them about 1/4/07. What bothers me is I get an email(sometimes) and then the coins won't show up for 12 to 14 days, about the time I go to stressing their lost, they finally show up.

Sorry about the Saints. It is tough playing in Chicago. I'm glad the Colts will play them down in the sun on a fast field.

 

Dragon..I am just guessing on this but think i am pretty close. trying to figure out what the mint is doing is like trying to crack the Da Vinci code.

Saints were way out of place in Chicago. This particular situation show you how important home field advantage is other than just being at home. Now if the saints were to play them in a swamp and throw a couple of gators in there , the saints would have killed them
