Hello coin talk, recently bought this on eBay...paid a little more then I wanted to for this dime. But I thought it looked like a cud error, but after seeing it I'm slightly worried it may be solder. I would like to get your guys opinions, thanks for any help guys.

The fact that is on exactly opposite sides and almost the same size makes me think it is solder or something like that. Perhaps to make a pin or broach or something?

Edit: It also seems to be raised above the coin which makes me lean more towards solder than a CUD.

Also, I don't see any evidence on the obverse of there being CUDs on the reverse.

Definitely solder is ex jewelry you can see file marks on the right side of the reverse too either where they prepared it or removed it plus the color of the solder isn't the same as the rest of the coin
