    Hi Everyone,
I was recently given an American Coin and have been told it may be worth something, as i do not know a lot about coins, maybe if i describe it someone can help. There is a mans head on the coin, at the top it says united states of america, bottom says quarter dollar,to the left of the head it says liberty, and to the right it says in god we trust. The other side says new hampshire1788 live free or die, old man of the mountain, then on the bottom, epluribus unum, also looks like there is a picture of a man and a mountain on it. Any help would be appreciated, i have got to chuckle to myself as i bet it is one they use in present day.

It's worth a quarter dollar. It's a current coin. Where are you located, by the way?

its one of our stae quarters. 1788 would be new hampshire's year of statehood. but the year of mintage of the coin should be on the coin. and as you said it says "quarter dollar" so its a mystery to me why the details of the coin you were not able to figure out.
