First off, let me apologize for the low quality images. The first image shows the top of the Lincoln Memorial. In the area between the first ledge and the roof there is what I believe to be a squished together version of the overlapping horseshoe design that spans across the ledge under it. It's raised and the same tone and color as the rest of the clad layer so I don't think it's PMD. The second image shows a well-formed and raised dash coming out of the M in UNUM and over the top of the dot. I'd have a hard time believing that this is a die break or blister as it is as well formed as any of letters. While I don't think they are big finds, I do find them interesting and would like y'all to weigh in on what you think these two Lincoln cents could be classified as. Thanks, Chris
On the first coin, I can't really tell. Could be a small struck through or corrosion. The second coin looks to be a gas bubble. There are lots of other smaller ones in the same area.
I'll try to take a better pic and post it up later but I swear it looks similar to the double horseshoe design on the ledge below. As far as the second pic goes, that's the most well formed gas bubble I've seen yet but that is likely what it is.
