After looking for a while I've finally found a nice Trajan denarius for my slowly growing collection...

That coin is in beautiful condition, nice find. Maybe there's one hidden in the uncleaned Roman lot I just purchased

outstanding Trajan, great typical portrait of that emperor...I have yet to fill that slot yet in my collection but one like that would fit just fine :)

    Brian,
That's just about the nicest Trajan I've ever seen. You're going to end up having quite a remarkable collection.
It has mine beat hands down except for one small thing, mine has a cool little camel on the reverse.:D
    Just kidding...keep it up.
EDIT:I just realized that the inscriptions on our coins are identical on both sides...interesting

This one commemorates the Roman invasion and conquest of Parthia (Iraq) in 116 AD.

Very Nice! I stopped at the Tucson International Show last weekend with the hopes of finding a nice example with a different reverse but I had no luck.
