help id these draped bust cents

    I have some draped bust cents that I have no idea of the years because they are worn off

    though I think the one on the left is an earlier type

    and info is much appreciated:)

    I'd need a closeup, straight on shotof each coin's obverse and reverse to get started.

    I believe the one on the left is a S-187. The falling berry at the left side above O(N) is pretty diagnostic, though I haven't checked it against other years.

    It's a little harder to check these days after my photos were wiped out, again. I haven't redone it this time.

    is that a rare type? and how much would that be worth?

    Is it just the angle of the picture or is the one on the right smaller diameter?

    the one on the right is smaller diameter!

    Thats odd, because draped busts should be around 29mm, I haven't seen too many that are that far apart in diameter.

    so maybe it's earlier than 1803?

    No, draped busts ran from 1796-1807...before that was the cap and pole design, which also 29mm.

    No. It's actually a common (R1) 1798 in group 6. Type 2 hair, letters and small 8.
