An 1867 Mo, the variety in general not regarded as an uncommon coin, but I still don't see all that many of them, Seller had it labeled as XF, but I think the high VF range is probably more like it. In any event, it was priced correctly for its likely actual grade as opposed to the more optimistic one.
I normally don't brag on that point, and I actually "bundled" it with a couple of other Mexican silver pieces (like Frank on American Pickers) - let's just say it worked out to just a little more than the TV coin shows typically get for their raw Morgans. And I'd certainly rather have this than another common date Morgan.
Wow, that's a very sweet lookin' coin ... both, the obverse and the reverse are bringin' it!! (congrats, Lucky Cuss)
I usually do not ask what it cost, but since I might be interested in getting 1 later I did not see the harm in asking. You can keep it a secret. I went on Ebay to see what the grades/price bring. still a very cool looking reverse. I will get 1 of these down the road. so many others coin on my want list now that are way cheaper.
