LOL and then some. What I can't understand is why this coin is being billed in every other sentence or so as an "L." Isn't is assumed that the designer's initial is going to hold up in a coin of this grade? In fact, wouldn't it be "rarer" if it didn't?

The sad thing is the asking price for the coin wouldn't even be close to worth it if the cent was actually a nice AU piece. The seller is asking around MS-63 money for the piece.

 

Maybe this seller just has a vivid imagination.... He sure likes to use a lot of adjectives. Item descriptions as long as his must be a red flag!

Did you notice the very reasonable shipping & handling charge also? In one of his feedback replies he states that all of his coins are undergraded. I wonder who he's trying to fool.

 

Yeah and he doesn't have his facts straight about the lowest mintage. Maybe it's $25 for shipping because he is packing all the bull---- with it.
