shiny 1964 d jefferson nickel. lamination?

    bryantallard show me the money....so i can look through it

    I found this roll searching. the shine drew me. it has some issues I was hoping you could help me with. also has some visible stair details. not bad for circ. advice appreciated

    Looks like glue to me or some other kind of funky nasty stuff that has crusted on to the coin.

    it is all even with the rest of the coin. no raised gunk. it looks like a layer of something has flaked off at the spots I indicated. it isn't the same height as the rest of the coin
