counterfeit 1788 Massachusetts cent?

hi I just recently got into colonial coins I am wondering if the 1788 half cents is fake because the lettering is thin instead of bold and there are two lines under the date so my question is is it a modern reproduction or a old counterfeit from that period?

It has a good chance of being an older fake which I think were made in the 60s I bought one about 10 years ago and later studying it comparing it to a real one realized it wasn't right the lumpiness of the reverse makes me think of the copy I bought I wish I still had it to compare

 

aww man I was hoping it would at least be of the era fake lol, but before I make a choice I'll wait for more replies!

The one on the left is fine, the one on the right is a non-regal issue (a.k.a. circulating counterfeit)
