Not sure if I will do it or not but I was curious how guys are putting those links in their signatures? I tried messing around with it and can't seem to figure it out.
NGC makes it easy, you just cut and paste the code / link they provide on your "Control Panel" into the signature section under your profile on CT. https://coins.www.collectors-society.com/member_dashboard.aspx paste here: http://www.cointalk.com/account/signature
There must be something i'm messing up because it isn't working. It basically just puts the code in my sig. Oh well. Thanks anyway.......disregard that. I was copying the wrong link
So you can put both coins from PCGS and NGC in the NGC Registry set? Do all coins that are graded by NGC/PCGS have pictures attached with them? I might be interested in doing this with my graded coins.
I just got back into the hobby around Christmas and already have some regretful buys. In my short time I have already reassessed my collecting goal and have lots of upgrades to do. I created a Custom Type Set so I can include raws and make it the way I want. At first I was enjoying getting the "holes" filled but now I am going to focus on AU and better 20th century and VF30 and better 19th century. We will see how that works with really early coins. Oddly, I had to list my raws as "wanted" to show pics even though I do own them.
Yes you can. My sig is my custom type set I created to include my raws though. It is kind of fun to watch your points climb in the competitive set though that does use both TPGs. I give NGC kudos for catering to all collectors of different slabs. I use it more for record keeping and inventory than competition.
did you provide the pictures of your graded coins or are those pictures used from the NGC/PCGS database?
Alright so I signed up for an account, added some of my coins, but as you can see below it says user not found and when I click on my link, nothing shows up?
It might take time for the coins and the set to verify. I don't really know otherwise. Obviously no expert here since I couldn't even get a link without trouble.
