The first of three coins I ordered over the weekend. I'll post the others when they come. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Cherried this Bugs Bunny off eBay. Not sure if any other bidders noticed it, but the seller didn't have any mention of it in the listing. And here's one that isn't what I was expecting and will probably be returning. Wanted to take pics anyways.
Never sent one I bought it this way not a walker collector but like the design and decided to pick up a couple real nice examples got this and a pf 67 1940 I'm an early coins guy all the way tho give me a draped bust or a flowing hair any day
Bill, Congrats on your Gold Bean. I have one coin with a Gold bean and don't know if I'll ever sell it. Part of me is interested to see if it will frenzy sell on eBay. It is in a PCGS holder with a Gold Bean, so the registry crowd just might make it worth it....
I actually bought this one off the ct classifieds for not much of a premium over thought it was a good value and investment the seller said he sent it in and it came back gold but I buy the coin first and loved the perfectly clean fields and sharp strike i think it's an easy 66
Yes cointalk members do sell a lot of coins member to member to. One thing I think Tpg do wrong at times is issue a bad grade. MS 66 or 67 is this one. This is not mine it was one used at our monthly club meeting has no details like full steps /maybe 2 -3 full not five.
I just received this 1795 Flowing Hair Dollar 2 Leaves. its a BB-24 B-13 Variety. the BB-24 is a harder to find Variety. its not the rarest variety, but still hard to find. the coin has some adjustment marks but typical for the series. took some quick pics. the holder has some major scratches.
here is some info about the BB-24 http://www.pcgs.com/books/silver-dollars/Chapter04Listings-044.aspx
One thing to appreciate about that 1795, is considering the size, wear and age, is how little marks there are. That's really a special coin. I am huge VF silver coin fan and strive for the best pieces with minimal marks and pure eye appeal. That's a coin that would be a centerpiece of my collection for sure. Very nice buy no matter what the price tag. They don't come like that everyday.
Got these half dollars today; a 1948 Franklin with some pretty nice bell lines, and I was getting some proof sets for the quarters and found this great 1999 Kennedy (clad) half.
