Scanned in a UNC 1960 set and saw what looks like die marks or extra lines around some of the letters on the Franklin Half Dollar.

I am new to all this and I was wondering one am I seeing what I think I am seeing and if I am what would something like this be classified as ?

Thank You for your thoughts. Its tuff being new to all this and it seems every coin I look at has an issue of some sort. I am getting ready to post what I think maybe could be a 1970 s DDO and a 1960 DDO,

Sorry if it seems like I posting to much. I have called 5 coin shops locally and no one here wants to deal with error coins. The only want coins for melt down cash. Our coin shops seems to be just seem to be nothing more then a pawn shops.

It seems to be the most profitable for the least knowledge. A friend has one, and I have to look away when they offer less than 50% of melt, as the people look very desperate. But he also has been burned with a fake emerald, fake 1943 bronze cent, fake Canadian Gold Maple leaf, etc. , so I guess it somewhat evens out.
