I recieved an email from the mint stating that my proof and silver proof sets were shipped out on Jan. 9th and 10th. Has anyone else recieved the same email or have already recieved their proof sets? If anyone has recieved theirs, is the new dollar coin included in the set or will they be sold seperately. I just wanted to ask so I know what to expect when I get them. :hammer: Kevin
This won't help you any but I haven't received that e-mail. Does everyone receive it at the same time or does it go by when you signed up? This is my first year on the subscription thing so I'm kind of curious. Also, on check order history it says my subscription was mailed on 1/1/2007 which can't be right (especially since I placed an order for the 2004 and 2005 silver sets and they shipped on 1/4 and arrived quite a while ago).
the release for proof sets has not started yet. silver 2007 will probably not be released til 2nd half of yr. if you look at your order status..it should say shipped 0 units and your card would not be charged. you may want to recheck your order staus to make sure. they still have 2006 sets if you ordered one of those...good luck.
I ordered the 2007 sets for the subscription. I bought the 2006 silver proof set last year while I was at the mint. Sorry, I guess I misunderstood the email I recieved.
Do you still have the e-mail??? Copy and paste it here... I'd like to see what they really said reguarding the sets!!! I just love the mints anual sets (Proof and Mint)!!!!
i check the site often. use the order history function to see status. if you are on the e list, they will let you know when a product is available. certainly is convenient and gives you a chance to get stuff at cost before it sells out. stil haven't heard if dollars will be included in proof set. also haven't heard if dollars will be released in silver....anyone know??
They emailed an order number to me. On the Mints web site theres a place that says "track order". I typed in my order number and my last name and it gave me the information that I stated above. That my Silver Proof Set was shipped on 1-9-07 and my regular Proof Set was shipped on 1-10-07 but there were no dollar figures and no tracking number included.
Man, thats just wierd... If you look on the mints page, in the anual sets, it shows no 2007 products, only "06" and if you look on the "Whats new" page, you see a couple of 07 Jamestown Commems, a few bags and rolls of "06 "coins and a 06 proof set...
This is completely normal with subscriptions - it is merely their way of confirming the subscription. It doesn't mean anything other than that.
I don't think you'll be seeing the clad proofs until April and the silver proofs before June or July.
