Nice example of a cud. A cud occurs when the die first cracks and then breaks. When the die breaks, it cannot apply any pressure to the planchet and as such, the design does not get transferred. Awesome! I've only found 1. It was the first error coin I found when I started. It was a1983 and I sold in on ebay to get money to buy some Jefferson proofs. I kick myself every single day for that.
