Hey everyone . I found a 1998 Wide Am Lincoln Cent that I found in Circulation a few days ago and was wondering if Doubling is possible along with this coin. I have a few pictures that are clear an close up so please see them and any feedback is welcome. Doubling seems to be shown all over the Reverse Side in all Die lettering . Especially in "United States Of America" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM "
Either Machine Doubling or a trick of lighting. Can't tell which. Either way - not a true doubled die.
Ok yea I thought it was just a normal 1998 WAM and figured it wasn't doubled cause I have been reading up a lot on doubling now thanks to y'all's help I appreciate it all . How much does a 98 wam go for ?
I see that too. I missed the 4th picture. I dunno what it is but I am having a heck of a time loading the pictures lately.
Ah, didn't even notice it was a WAM. Nice find. Can't quite tell the condition, on ebay I would guess $6-8 if circulated, $10 or so f uncirculated.
Is this also an example of die deterioration on "E PLURIBUS UNUM " on this 1982 Lincoln Reverse . Also the " C" in " Cent " seems doubled
