I am currently assisting one of my customers in assembling a first year type set. These came across my desk today and I wanted to shoot some pictures... and why take pictures if not to share them! Enjoy!
Wow, per price guide, that's around 60K in value. You have a well heeled collector/investor customer! Aside from that, they do look awfully nice. Thanks for sharing them with us.
I tell you, everytime you post pictures of coins that "came across your desk," my jaw hits the floor. Thank you for sharing these rare beauties.
I should start snapping some pics of some customer consignment. I've hesitated to do so because we don't 'own' the coins, but next time, I'll ask.
Shoot Mat, what can one say? It's incredibly amazing what comes by your venue. Your customer has one heck of a guy working for him......... Frankly, I can't afford folks like you.......
What are the odds.....I actually had that quarter in hand at the exact same time this got posted. It was my first time in their shop and I was like a kid in a candy store. I can honestly say I've never been in a shop that was so friendly, knowledgeable and willing(no, excited) to show their coins. They will get my repeat business and no, I'm not the guy working on a first year type set.
Matt, as always, your images are greatly admired/appreciated. I'm salivating, but can now state that I've viewed some "awesome" original specimens of coins, which in my opinion, are a treasure to just behold. Please continue to share your observations!!
