Hi all I recently bought this note off ebay and im worried it may be a fake, I notice all other notes on ebay and sites have a ink looking stamp hexagon with a 50 and a silouette figure of gaddaffi on the white blank space, heres pics of the one I bought:

Should I be worried that this may be a fake as it has no hexagon with "50" stamp?

I paid $40 for it as the other ones were $80-$90 etc

Man it took a while to spot that 50 stamp. I bet that's just a teller stamp.

Also, the watermark of Gaddafi is on your note. It's a bit hard to see, but it's there.

It's generally not a currency that is faked. I'm pretty confident you have the real thing.

It looks the same as the colour specimen in my MRI Bankers Guide to Foreign Currency, which also does not have the hexagonal 50 stamp.

well the note arrived and it DOES have that hexagon with the 50 on it stamp, I guess the camera flash hidden it or something but its clear seeing it in the flesh.
