I have been wanting to get German east Africa coins for a while now, especially the tabora minted ones. I have three right now that I have a chance to buy, do you think these prices are fair for them? here is the first one, a 1906 1 Heller. Asking price for it is $ 18.90 total. Here is the second one, a 1916 Tabora mint 20 Heller, supposedly obverse-b reverse-b, and minted off center. asking price for it is $25.00
1904-A KM#7 mintage- 10,256,000 metal- bronze grade value F-$1.50 VF-$5.00 XF-$8.00 UNC-$40.00 BU-$60.00 I am no expert on these coins. I would guess this to be a F-VF value- $3.00-5.00 2nd coin 1916 KM#15a mintage-1,600,000 metal-brass your is the obverse B and reverse B pointed tips on L's small crown grade/value F-$12.00 VF-$36.00 XF-$55.00 UNC-$150.00 BU-$180.00 I would call your coin VF-XF. your value- $36.00-40.00 $25.00 price is a good deal. being off center could drive the price higher with error collectors. ??
i was wondering also if the off center strike made any difference. i do know that there are probably a few of these like that, because of.the conditions in which the tabora coins were struck.
