Congrats Geekpryde on your Heritage win. I remember how I felt when I won my first auction there. Now that anticipation starts. Hoping the coin you viewed looks as good or better in hand!!! I still get excited everytime I win a coin at auction.

WARNING: Be careful as Heritage offers excellent coins every week and viewing them is addicting. So is pressing the little buttons labled "Place Bid" & "Confirm Bid"!

I was able to get some imaging lessons from GBroke last week and although we are not quite done with the lesson I am already applying what he has taught me to my imaging. So here are a few pics of my newest coins hope you enjoy.

This Lib Commem was a gift from a good friend of mine.

I picked up this Constitution Commem Proof with the Cert of Auth and original Mint packaging for $22.50 which with the beautiful colors it has on the Rev I could not pass up.

Here is another MS 58----AU 61 coin. I thought it was awfully close either way 28a.jpg 28b.jpg

Here is what PCGS called it, and I agree, as there's a tiny bit of rub. Then again, I have seen far worse looking MS 61-62s 28.jpg

    A 58 will pretty much always look batter than a 60, 61, 62, and sometimes 63.

I'll just leave this here! :)

    New Charlotte $5 & CAL Quarter Eagle(click!)

Let me say that by no means is there likely to be any new info to anyone here in the link, but I haven't seen a CAL coin in the flesh (as it were) in a long time and I couldn't help but tell an abridged version of its story! Coin Nerd Pride! :)

This one pails in comparison with the beauties posted on here but price wise I have em all beat. I found this in the reject bin of the CoinStar machine today. I know the picture isn't very good but I think she grades EF40 and for a find that's a bargain. photo 2(1).JPG photo 1(2).JPG

I almost keeled over when he said "I think I've got a CAL around here somewhere ..." all casually. Oh, Uncle Mal!
