I always consider it a lucky day when I find a terretorial or national park quarter. They are almost as rare as a 2009 nickel or dime.
They may not be rare, but they are not common either. At least not where I'm from. If you are getting them often then you probably live close to where they enter circulation.
I'm only just now starting to see Rushmore in circulation. No Smoky's yet, but did buy a Denver mint one on a whim at the LCS yesterday.
wow.. i dont even have a Mt.Rushmore yet!. i hardly ever see Nat'l parks around here, since 2010 i have saved a total of 2 rolls full,. whenever i get quarters to search it's 95% states and 5% 1965/66. occasionally i get a territory or ATB in change.
I live in upstate New York. We're expecting Teddy Roosevelt to show up any day to announce that he's running for president in 2016. Bully for him! I've been told that the edge of the earth is somewhere west of Rochester. Meanwhile, I still wait for my ATB quarters and 2009 nickels and dimes. I understand that the pony express is due to arrive next month with a bag full of goodies.
