Picked these two notes up a few months ago for dirt cheap. I'm not sure how much of a premium would be added to them. Both are CU series 2001. Any opinions?

$20-$25 each to the right buyer.

I would think it would be more. I'd guess a couple hundred bucks each.

I agree. I once sold a circulated $5 2003 note that was in the 300s for $25. I would imagine these are worth considerably more considering they are in CU condition with six leading zeros.

$5,000,000 anyone? I guess I'm not a numbers guy. Modern notes like these with low serials are pulled before they make it into circulation. They are common. Most of them are AU to CU, so the condition doesn't distinguish the notes either. If it were an older series where low serials made it into circulation, they'd be worth more... especially in CU.

I would have said $100 for the pair but if you find the right people who collect a certain number for whatever reason they have, it could be a good amount more. It really depends on who is looking at the right time.

Well, if eBay is your outlet, I had a '06 $1 B00000060C that sold for about $50, and it couldn't have been more than F/VF. While Funkee has a point that these notes probably shouldn't bring the dollars that they do, there are people out there who will spend some dollars on these low modern serials. My guess would be $80 each, $230 if sold as a sequential pair.

yeah i think funkee is closer in the right estimation. i sold many 2 digit serial numbered notes and made no where near a couple of hundred dollars. my notes were older as well. it's really all about finding the right buyer.
