This one is a bit tough to understand but the reverse is clashed with a die from the 1857 Flying Eagle Cent.

These examples are amazing I'm not sure I have ever seen one although I have a raw '57 Flying Eagle that will go EF/AU and someone saw a picture (a very poor picture) and said they thought it had a die clash. I may try and photograph it again though I doubt it will be a much better picture and post it here for you to look at if you don't mind. I appreciate y'all showing these examples and hope more are posted this educational and ornamental. Also do die clash coins occur now or are they limited to older issues? I saw the Jeffersons and Lincolns posted but didn't notice the dates. Can these be found roll searching and do they have a premium if I were to buy one of the nicer examples like shown in the pictures here?

Post that image. Even scans are good at showing die clashes.

Unfortunately, this is slabbed and I only have a scan. It is a nice example on a modern coin, though.

Thanks guys for showing the awesome die clash coins . I have a few nice ones but my camera is not very good . the 2005 bison 5 cent coin I nicknamed the peeing bison is one of my favorite ones in the modern coins.one of my friends has been selling a few of these for around a hundred dollars on ebay ... It is really scarce and a hard to find clashed die coin . this one looks like the bison is taking a leak. actually I like all of the clashed die coins. i'm adding a link to this coin so folks that haven't seen it can see the photos.

the clashed die peeing bison coin has a awesome story behind it . the clashed die was noticed very soon and was then ground and polished by the mint workers , this created the awesome ultra detached leg bison coin. so this same die struck both type varietys and has been confirmed by two die scratches on Jefferson's nose . the two type varietys were found in the same roll of new coins.

I'm going to add a link to one of my 5 cent coins with a nice counter clash. so far this is the only one like this that I have ever seen. sometimes the mint workers spots the easy to see clashes and destroys the die and all of the coins they can find.
