Decent fakes

    My dad sent me these coins yesterday. He bought them about 30 years ago in a market in Indonesia. He was pretty sure they were fake but he's been giving all his coins and paper money over the past year. Anyway I thought they were decent fakes. They were about two grams under weight each.

    Even with those fuzzy photos, it certainly looks that way to me, absolutely some problems out at the edges, and with the weight being wrong, and with where they were acquired, well that pretty much makes it a sure thing that they're counterfeit.

    Wow, that Trade Dollar would go nice with my fake 1877-S TDs.

    Sorry to say, but IMO, the Morgan is not a good fake. It's pretty bad actually.

    Okay. I'm no expert at spotting fakes. I just weighted all of them to see if they were real.
