You are all very welcome...I am happy to share. Somehow I missed the originals from the mint (except for the one I got in my Anniversary Set) so I was kinda anxious to find some more after I heard they were limiting the mintage. Something tells me the 2007s will sell like crazy, but since they will mint milliions, they won't be worth near as much as the 2006.

I am curious...since the inception of the ASE in 1986 the mint has never sold an uncirculated version...only a proof. Anybody know why they all of the sudden decided to start?

I am not 100 percent sure but I think I know the reason. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$! Plus they were already making them for the 2006 anniversary sets. I am glad they did it though. With the mint only making about 470,000 or so of the 2006 W's which includes the 270,000 in the anniversary set (thank you Mint for releasing them so late in the year) this should make the 2006-W much more scarce then even the 1996 in which about 3,000,000 were minted. I bet they make millions of the 2007-W so people will be chasing the 2006-W to fill their collections.
Thanks again for the Littleton link!

    They're on the WAY!!!!!

Just got confirmation, my order for 20 coins has been shipped from Littleton today!!!!!

Question now is, will they be boxed or singles in a tube. Unboxed will undoubtly not be worth as

much OR be in pristine condition!!! I can't believe they'll be sending any ORIGINAL'S out for that

    price. We'll soon find out!!

You could be right, but it also may be because collectors have hammering them to do so since the series began - and they finally decided to listen to their customers.

Littleton sent you 20 coins at $28.50? Are you sure they gave you that price on all 20 coins? They said they would only allow 5 coins at that price. If you got all 20 at that price congrats! I would check and make sure they didn't charge 15 coins at 70 bucks though. Let us know how it turns out.
I heard they were in a blue box per the customers service agent. She wasn't sure if it came just like the Mint sent it. I am hoping to get mine tomorrow.

You may be right. Glad the mint finally did it no matter what the reason. Beautiful coin.:thumb:

    They Arrived

My 5 'W's arrived this morning, They did come in the original mint packaging, and they all look almost flawless. How about some advice where to send a couple to be 'slabbed?'

Got mine today also. Just like they came from the Mint. I shipped those 5 plus 2 I already had off to NGC today. I have 5 at NGC right now. Modern coin grading is $12.50 and I believe you get a 10 percent discount if you do the invoice online. Also a 5 coin minimum. Should be about 76 bucks or so to get them graded (NGC charges about $18 to ship back). Here is a link: http://www.ngccoin.com/ebay_ngcvalue.cfm

Yup, I got my two orders today. 10 pieces and 5 pieces both at the $28.50. They seem to be full mint packaging! Woo.

How did everyone get more than 5 at $28.50? I had an order for 16 total and they would only let me have 5 for that price. Oh well. Happy for anyone that even got some at the price!
