SCREEN THE COIN BEFORE SEND IT TO THE PCGS OR NGC

WHERE CAN I ASK THE PROFESSIONAL TO SCREEN THE COIN BEFORE I SEND IT TO THE GRADING COMPANY. SINCE SOME COINS WORTH TO SEND FOR GRADING.
SOME COINS MAY NOT. HOW MUCH DO THEY CHARGE FOR COIN SCREEN SERVICE FEE?

One thing you can do, post the coin here, on what's it worth forum, you will get a host of opinions..also show your club members, they will give you opinion. your local coin dealer which sends many coins in to both NGC or PCGS will offer there opinion for free. Good luck..

Get a powerful LED flashlight and look for hairlines. Thought NGC made a mistake when grading a coin of mine, looked perfect to me in daylight.

 

While posting here is a good idea, I would also suggest taking your coins to local coin shows or to a nearby coin club and getting some opinions. While you have more exposure here, pictures sometimes can hide obvious problems that might only be seen "in-hand."
