tommy you will find a lot of coins with this nearly worthless doubling on them. there are many forms of this MD , it will take you a while to easily recognize the difference between MD and a true doubled die coin. a doubled die coin is struck with a die that has the doubling on it.
I would think I had some of the best finds recently. look at that 7 its thick and there is a line going through it. no offense but thats why I barely post here seriously one minute im on a roll the next a few of you guys take sucker shots at me for real. I found a dropped letter cent and RRDD just name a few finds and when i do make finds I get very few likes and "great finds" but when I post other cents like these I get negative and childish comments from grown men! Im done with this site with all due respect to the REAL COLLECTORS that know what they are talking about The (Mike Diamonds Etc. Etc.) I take my hat off to You guys.. but the clowns on this site can go fly a kite and Im being nice! half of You guys dont know what You are talking about and are parrots you repeat exactly what the next guys says and changed your opinion when they change theres and i can go through 100 of threads where this is done. I have a real good eye for this and when 99.9 percent of my coins are examined the opinions change rapidly!! the level of immaturity on this site is mind blowing to say the least! just look at the threads!! its always a problem with the same users and new members and you USERS know exactly who are and RASCAL you one of the them the name suits you well! JUST READ THE THREADS! but the moderator will tell me play nice while these kindergarteners are running ramped!!! SMH
now what brought this on ? I was just trying to help you and if you had a good coin I would say congrats on a great find. Tommy I know about as much about error and variety coins as anyone in the hobby. I have been collecting and studying error coins for right at 50 years and you act like I don't know anything. when you show a worthless coin on here folks can't say it is a rare doubled die or some other valuable error because they would be lying. Me and a lot of other folks are watching the kindergarteners on here as you call them and when someone gives false information they will be corrected by someone that knows coins.
I like Tommy. I like his passion for the hobby. However, this is why I didn't post on the few coins he posted recently. I told my wife, "Tommy's about to flip." Sure enough, I check this morning and here it is.
