1798 LC it's type 2 hair group 6, but I am having trouble determining the variety of this coin. It's hard to see if there's any cracks in the pictures and using the Penny Whimsy I have no visuals to compare it to. Any help would be appreciated. I'm thinking VG10-F12(Details) What do you think a fair price to offer for this coin?
Wild guess from the images. If it has any problems we can't see and would get a details grade, $100 to $150. I'll guess $300+ if it will grade and looks good in hand. From what I see, I like the coin.
My guess is s-184 but I can't tell for sure from the pics tough call if that one would grade clean or not without seeing in hand it could fair price raw 125-175 if it graded clean an easy $300+ coin I'd say f-15 possibly details I can't see how porous it is regardless its a nice coin!!
Fairly common variety has the telltale die crack from the a toward the fraction and the spacing of liberty and the date right for 184 wish I could tell you it was an 183
