I bought this for 10 bucks at a LCS. The guy at the shop claims its a AU58. I was wondering, based on the obverse, what grade would you give this buffalo nickel and whats it worth ?.
I would say it should grade around a 63 or 64. I don't specialize deep into this series, so I can't give you an idea of how much it should go for.
Please keep in mind this is not my series. Without the reverse it is impossible to give a grade, so assuming the reverse isn't hiding anything, the obverse has looks to have nice luster and slight wear, so I would think AU58 is appropriate. If you're looking to collect, $10 is a fair price. Jesse
The surface seems to have wear on it so i would say based on what i can see that ti is most likely an AU grade coin, as for price not great price but not bad either just a middle of the road price you can get nice AU's for around 3-5 on ebay !!
