I thought it was really funny that every time there was a commercial break my phone would light up...
i dont watch sports, so i was positive that a coin i have been watching for days was mine, ending in the 4th quarter. snipers. bane of my existence.
. <------- wonders if OP never heard of Sniping Services/Software, where you enter your bid early and it will dew the sniping for eWe? <------- wonders how OP manages to get up in time every morning to set his alarm clock, so it will go off 5 seconds later and never oversleep, because they never knew they could preset it the night before? I'm just wondering ... .. . Ribbit
No it wasn't! How dare eWe say such lies! It was all the Seahawk fans playing their winnings, from betting everything they had on their team! Ribbit
The two things I have learned here that have really added value to me as a collector are bidnapper and Hugh wood
Yeah, I was actually at a movie during the Super Bowl. I was still placing snipes via free software, but I had set those days in advance. What makes you think that just because people are sniping that they must be doing it by physically sitting in front of their computer?
I set up my snipes days in advance thru a service... only had one scheduled yesterday for during the SB and I was outsniped by someone else...
I never used any services. I think best deals are buy it now format where you're the first to see it, not auctions that are seen by hundreds. When I like something at auction though I always put in my max in the last second never had a problem.
That's what the snipe services do, except they save me the time/trouble of having to (A) sit in front of my computer when the auction is ending and (B) remember when each auction is going to end. I enter my max bid at my convenience before the end of the auction and the snipe service takes care of the rest.
And where's the excitement in that? When an auction is about to end I enter the bidding mode, heart rate goes to 120, eye pupils dilate, eye sight perfect, won't blink for the last 20 seconds that's half the fun of winning a coin.
I've been on EBay since '95 and never heard of snipe service. I'm just an old country boy so I'm not to savvy on tech stuff. Do you have to pay for this snipe service or do they have a free one ? I do enjoy last minute bidding but that's not always feasible so if y'all don't mind sharing this sniper info I would appreciate it.
