One more guys, Here is a really nice 1807 which I think attributes at O-101 and MAY be in the F-15ish condition zone. It's a common one, but still one I didn't have. Thanks for looking Ben
Ben: That is one very pretty piece. However, (There is always a however, isn't there) are you sure that it isn't O-105? Obverse: 1 joined to curl; Recerce: Beak & Star joined, and the stems to the berries seem to match better. :thumb:
congratulations on your new coins! you can feel the envy from here. it is so incredibly cool to have that kind of history in your hands . good for you!!!
Ben: Now for the bad news: O-107 is a R-1. the other O-101was an R-5! Sorry, but I was kinda wishing that I was wrong.
Oh Hell, it really doesn't matter. O-105 is good enough for me. I paid only $135 for it BTW, nothing back from Don Parsley yet. Take Care Ben
Bone, you got this one at a steal for 135. I would have happily paid 100 dollars more than you did for that. I would say it is a lock 15, shot 20. Nice coin!
Big Z, Thanks for the looksee. When it showed up (ebay store) for sale I did a double-take too. Had to get the OK from the Miss's first which took a little bribery Ben
Hey Bonedigger, that coin would make a great prize for your next contest!!! Thats a very nice Bust Half, you got quite a deal on it.
Thanks, you reminded me I sure did promise a contest upon my return. Hmmm, gotta think of something interesting... Ben
Wow, it sure looks a lot better in your pics than the auction's. Nice pickup, that's a lot of coin for less than $200....Mike
