Picked up about $40 of nickels and $40 cents on Sat. 2 rolls of cents were filled with wheaties. ranging from 1916 to the 50s with about 3 steel cents and a 1945 canadian penny. The best part of these 2 rolls were there was 3 Indian Head cents. My first time ever getting anything older that a 1909 lincoln.
The IHC were 1899,1907,1908. what a thrill! I havent even made it to the nickels yet. Anyone else got some nice finds? These rolls were gotton at a Washington Mutual bank on Long Island NY. Teller said an elderly person brought them in.

i never have any luck with sackies. going thru the batch of nickels from the same person I found 6 siver nickels and amazingly 1912 liberty nickel. I never ever even found a buffolo in the 6 months i have been searching.

    EVery time i do $20 in cents, i find 10 wheats...and 50 canadian cents!!

The worst part is when i take them back, the machine won't take the canadian coins :( I have about $10 in Canadian coins.

I'm gonna grab $20-30 this weekend to search. WHat would I have better luck finding something in? Cents or Nickels???

My bank has an automatic coin rolling/sorting machine.

It's like a coinstar except they don't dedect a fee. Need to have an account though.

Downside is it spits out the canadian stuff.

Great finds. I've searched 3 $100 boxes of nickels and averaged 1 silver and about a dozed pre-1960s per box. So far no buffalo or liberty nickels.
