in 2012 found this coin in my home town ( ZUARA ) on an old graveyard near of the beach , so i think this town was more Commercially important Libyan city in Punic era description: North Africa, Carthage Æ 20. Sardinia (?), circa 264-241 BC. Head of Tanit left / Horse's head right; palm tree and pellet. SNG Copenhagen 4.57g, 20mm, 2h. Attractive olive-green patina
Very nice indeed. As a collector of ancients, I would love to live somewhere where I could metal detect some truly old coins, or at least have the possibility of doing so. All I've ever found is bottle caps and rusty nails.
