I'll be there buying Thursday & Friday, but I read they aren't open to the public until 1 pm Thursday. Wonder if I can pay for an early bird pass?
hey I saw you where on so I would like to ask a question do you know about any apps that you take a picture of it and it grades it or it tells you what its worth
I'm gonna be there depending on my work schedule. Oh wait. I need to find work first. Needless to say, I won't be buying much of anything. Just drooling. I was a bit overwhelmed at the monthly Marrietta Hilton show as my first coin show adventure. I imagine it'll be worse at the ANA.
These mid-ANA shows are much smaller than the summer ANA, but still worth going to. I always suggest to buy an early bird badge if one is hardcore about coins.
the first thing an educated person on this forum would tell you is that one cannot grade from pictures, unless they are trying to sell you this hypothetical app. then, the technology to be able to recognize a coin from a picture being taken would be akin to facial recognition technology...the cost for this would be astronomical. as the end user paying for this app, you would be better off buying a redbook and doing some reading/self-educating. shortcuts usually dont pay off.
