found this one after checking a pennie jar

    Hi Rick , it could be from the 80's it definately looks like one of the zincolns. just a few more posts and I will hit that big 2000 mark. LOL

    Looks like a hit or MD. The first photo shows it the best. The coin does not have the appearance of a doubled die.

    well since the coin is dated 1984 from what the photos shows it does not have a chance to be the 84 doubled ear. If it had been dated 1997 then it would have been worth checking out more. the 97 doubled ear coins are really hard to get a good enough photo to show the doubled ear.
