Is there a web site or something that list coin shows? I live in East Texas and would drive to Dallas if I had advance notice of a show. I'm just curious as to where they would advertise. Thanks

Nothing on that "coinshows" website about the Long Beach, CA coin show, or did I miss it? Seems like a pretty big show to not make their list.
I google Texas State Numismatic Association. I found the Texas Numismatic Association. Went to their website and found a link for Coin Shows and Events. That took me to a calendar for the year that probably list most if not all the shows in Texas. http://www.brownbearsw.com/freecal/tna_calendar Coinshows.com tends to miss a lot of shows but I think the state organization will probably be pretty accurate.
I personally use my state numismatic association's website. Their calendar works well for me. They even go as far as listing shows in the states next door.
To be honest, I just use Google. If you search on east texas coin show 2014, are any of the results within your driving range?
