tumor on 1982 Lincoln cent?

    It's possible, but keep in mind that 1982 was the transitional year in changing from copper to zinc as the primary metal for the Lincoln cent.

    i have one that has the same chip on the first column i believe they call this the nest

    thank you for this information, but i was searching this kind of error "the nest" but i didn't find it, do you have a link who talk about it please?

    It isn't an "official" name for an error so there is probably little documentation on it. People sometimes call die breaks in this area "hornet's nests" because they resemble a hornet's nest that grew on the side of a house or building.
