I won this at auction in Australia today and it has mottled toning and is clearly MS something. I see there were only 78,000 minted and according to NGC it trends at $380 in MS60 but I am hopeful of something quite a bit better. Thanks for looking, marbury
@marbury518 Every time you post now I just know it's going to be something good. Heck of an improvement since your first posting here, which wasn't a bad pickup itself but someone (who has since vanished) turned it into a debacle by beating the "I swear it's an error worth thousands" drum. Remember that? I'm glad you didn't let that person dissuade you from collecting, and that they didn't scare you away from us here. Again, I truly enjoy seeing your new pickups (jealousy aside ) and thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much but unless it slabs really well I will have over paid. The mottled toning won't appeal to some collectors of course. At a 64 I might break even, oh well.
