1882 Au 58 o/s Morgan

Before I buy this coin, it is graded by ANACS and on it it has, VAM 3 top 100. Is it worth the $150 the guy wants?

Is it the strong over mm? If its weak i'd say no. But that's me

You definitely want it to look like what it's purported to be.

 

If the holder says it's a VAM3, then yes, it is a good deal. This is a Top 100 coin with the flush O/S. If it will cross over into a NGC or PCGS slab in a similar grade, then you have a really good deal.

 

Meh. A PCGS AU-58 just sold on Heritage this month for $135 so I wouldn't consider it much of a deal.

Is it an EDS or an LDS? The EDS is harder to find. If you think the price is too much, you can always make the seller an offer.
