How many unc westward journey nickels do you have?.

I find this thread very interesting, people are call these nickels juck, a bad invesment ect. but look at the big picture!!! some people have started collecting the nick's now they completed that, they want a complete set of jeff's, next they start on cents than halfs ect. It has brought a lot of new collectors in the market and sooner than later supply and demand sets in for all coins and we all get the gains!!! if people are willing to pay higher than market for the nick's then they are willing to do it for other coins then the coin market takes an up trend!! If you dont aggree look at the 1932-d washington prices since the state quarter program!!

I have some

I have recently purchased the Peace issue and the Keelboat issue mint roll sets. I have 5 peace sets and many more keelboat sets. I also have around 15 of each mint OBW rolls in Peace and Keel. After reading this thread I may reconsider this and unload some. Honestly I purchased these because I intend to resell them at some point to support my Dime collection obsession.

I take what the "Old Timers" say with a high degree of seriousness. I do personally believe that there may be some appreciation of these sets and rolls in the short term, I hope there is anyway since I now have way more than I intend to keep. Part of the reason that I just joined this forum is that my collecting perspective comes strictly from Ebay so the education I am getting here is very eye opening.

As a side note, I have experienced the "Hype" factor first hand when the 2003 silver proof sets were going crazy on Ebay because someone discovered a "error" on the lincoln cent. I have more of those sets than I am willing to admit. Had I been on a forum like this I may not have taken a bath on those.

westward nickels in circulation still hard to find many within a roll. from 2004 to 2006. so far i only got 240 pcs. circulated westward nickles.

Like I have said befor it is all about location I went through 10 rolls Saturday and pulled out 26 westward nickels all Denver mint. However I am getting fewer keelboat now than I used to.

no matter what?. 2006 nickels will be a part of westward journey.

 

You could be right my friend that is only my opinion.

i might as well buy some unc rolls of 2006 nickels or maybe 2007. 2007 nickels might be much much lesser mintage than 2006.
